Duchess Richeze von Berg was born in Schelklingen, Alb-Donau-Kreis, Baden-Württemberg, Germany as the daughter of Heinrich "The Black", Duke of Bavaria. She married Vladislav I. Przemysl King of Bohemia about 1110, in Prague, Czechoslovakia. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 1 daughter. She died on 27 September 1125, in Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, Germany, and was buried in Reichenbach, Plauen, Saxony, Prussia, Germany.
